Services

The daily operational requirements of I.T. have become crucial to businesses, servers are becoming more complex and are relied upon to support every facet of the business lifecycle. With any complex system there is a requirement for ongoing monitoring to ensure they function correctly and efficiently.

A completely different approach

Therefore we are taking a completely different approach than other support companies in this city. Rather than waiting for you to experience severe problems and call us, we want to be proactive and identify small problems before they become big calamities – saving you hours of downtime, frustration and the financial cost associated with this type of situation.

How it will work

Biz IT will install monitoring agents on each of your servers that link back to our main monitoring server. These agents report in every couple of minutes and if there are issues flag alerts on the monitoring server to be actioned.

If there are problems detected, then one of two things will happen. If it is a relatively minor problem, I will alert you of the problem and let you decide if you would like to deal with it or if you would prefer we rectified it. If it is a relatively urgent issue and it requires urgent attention then I will fix it and let you know of the problem, result and charge associated with it. Bearing in mind that an urgent issue is one that will or has resulted in a loss of functionality that will directly affect the productivity if your business.

The cost for this monitoring service is broken down as follows, for the different category of server;
